A native born Texan, (just ask him – he’ll tell you) Michael was running the gamut in the Houston area as a professional technical writer and editor (and off and on pawn broker) for nearly twenty years when it occurred to him that the voices, stirrings, and occasional smartass remarks in his head might make for some enjoyable reading to others.
An almost masochistic love of research that no one has yet to be able to explain, combined with an insatiable need to get crazy ideas out of his head led him to the path he’s taken up now – essentially an attempt to entertain, shock, and amuse the reader with the things he’s learned through research that has likely solidified him on a couple of government watch lists, and at least one request-for-prayers site.
These days Michael splits his time between work and family, and his two true loves in the form of a supportive and patient wife, and a less-than-patient and energetic little daughter.
“Home” is what he calls Texas and Louisiana. Both offer him a broad spectrum of locales for inspiration, interesting people, incredible sights, and a furthering of his neverending quest to find the perfectly crafted chicken fried steak.
